Because we need two blue gems for our meta. I have that in my chest and my ring, so unless the socket bonus for the blue gem is massive, i wouldn’t gem more than two blues

Im kinda curious about the single blue sockets with a 5sp bouns.
when I watch u on armory qieth, I see that in your MH wep, u go with a pure sp gem, but in your “ring of rapid Ascent” u go with a sp/spirit gem. Any good reasons for this, if so, please tell my why =)

Nevermind, the .3 appears to be a typo, you do seem to have multiplied the spirit by .5.

Hey, I just noticed that spirit is weighted .5 but when you calculated the SP/spirit gem, you multiplied spirit by .3, is there something I am missing. I know boomkins turn 30% of spirit into SP, so if you wanted to multiply spirit by .3 you would then have to multiply that number by 1.4 to get its weight. I may be wrong but it seems you have the sp/spirit gem slightly under valued.

thx for the advice im workin on a spec to include trees but would like to pick your brain more if possible. would loggin on your server and whisp you be a problem?

Treants are very good. You generally dont want to miss out on the ability that does the single highest damage for one GCD. Treants will do 30k+ damage, just on one single cooldown. Get them.

Typhoon is generally not needed, but even if you want it, you will usually have spare points if you are decently geared, and have a good mana regen. I have two spare points, which i put in owlkin frenzy, because typhoon is generally not needed – don’t even use it for Saurfang.

Owlkin Frenzy is fun, but its nothing major. Its nice to see those big crits once it procs, but its simply because theres not really anything else to put it in.

But please, do get treants.

how important is the owlkin frenzy talent i have speced it some time ago and found it not to be a big signifigance. i oppted out on trees and got the tidal wave talent for the surafang fight. just wondering about owlkin and its importance for me.

We usually have replenishment in raids, but it is still a very small part of our mana regen. Crit is really the biggest factor. All starfires crit inside lunar eclipse, and that basicly makes them free, and all other starfires and all wraths have about 58% chance to crit for me in a fully buffed raid. If about half of the wraths crit, then all of them are pretty much free aswell.

The only times I use innervate these days are on ICC trash, because we more or less just AOE it all down.
