It makes no sense to have a talent that does just that. Holy paladins have a relatively weak damage output - their strong points are in being able to survive for a long time, with heals and lots of armor. I also don't think its fair that resto AND elemental shamans suddenly have to share gear with holy paladins as well. Id rather have an extra pile of loot labeled "Holy Paladin" than having too many classes bid for the same items. Its bad enough that warriors, paladins and death knights (tank or DPS respectively) has to share - lets not make it worse than that. It would also complicate a lot of things - should paladins start out with leather and then get mail at level 40, and then a talent allowing them to wear plate at 60? That seems too messy. Shadow priests will most likely share gear with mages and warlocks. Spirit will be obsolete for them, and their spirit based talents will be changed - probably. Imo paladins should get a talent far in the prot and ret tree that makes them capable of wearing plate. SO that holy paladins end up sharing gear with shamans. But that's just me. Can't wait to see what they plan to do with the boomkins.
