People have been asking for a video of Lich King heroic for a while. So I recorded yesterdays kill and strapped on some awesome music – enjoy!

Throughout the beta, I’ve tried my best to avoid getting any spoilers on the content ingame. Of course, I have read up on moonkin information and general class changes – I mean, how would I otherwise run a blog if I didn’t? But since Blizzard didn’t give a beta invite to the Best Moonkin in the World, I decided to avoid lore like a pest, and wait for the awesome experience in December.
But after watching the news streaming out from Blizzcon this weekend, I started thinking back to the dungeons of old. There are a lot of neat ones coming out with Cataclysm, but we have had some pearls over the past six years. I decided to make a list of my favorite – and least favorite – dungeons in World of Warcraft.
There are three types of players in my world. These are the good players being good – you generally don’t notice these because they are doing what they should be doing. They are avoiding the ghosts on Deathwhisper, they catch that add running toward the healers and so on.
The second group is the bad players being bad. They get a lot of attention during raids, either for their lack of damage, their odd gear and spec choices, and their failure to move out of fire and their uncanny knack at catching Icehowl dead in the face.
And the last group, the most precious and rare group of all, are the Good Players being Bad. The GPB’s are usually excellent players, the ones that do what they are supposed to. Players who you can rely on to be a good addition to the group. But they will shock an entire raid group as they inevitably, once in a while, will be really, really bad.
I consider myself an expert on Lich King heroic. Sure, I’ve only killed him once, but I have wiped on this fight more than any other in the game. After 200+ wipes, you pick up a few things here and there, and I’d like to share that with you guys.
This is not an easy encounter, and as you wipe and try again over and over, you’ll tweak your rotation, your movement and your general style on the fight.
I am going to assume that you know the general tactics for this fight – there is no need for me to go through them cause, after all, the main way to be useful on Lich King is to know what the hell you’re doing!
